Your Hair Extensions Shouldn't Be the Star of the Show

One of my favourite compliments isn't,

"I love your hair extensions."

It's actually...

"I didn't even know you had hair extensions."

That might sound strange coming from someone who specialises in Braided Weft, but hear me out.

When your extensions become the first thing people notice, something usually isn't quite right.

Maybe there's too much hair.

Maybe the colour doesn't blend.

Maybe the length doesn't suit you.

Or maybe they're simply wearing you instead of becoming part of you.

To me, the best hair extensions don't steal the attention.

They quietly become part of your own hair.

My Job Isn't to Give You More Hair

People often come to me asking for longer hair.

Or thicker hair.

Or both.

But that's actually not my job.

My job is to create balance.

Sometimes that means saying,

"I don't think you need 200 grams."

Sometimes it means leaving a little more length than you'd planned.

Sometimes it means mixing three different shades because one colour alone won't look natural.

Sometimes it even means telling a client,

"Let's do less today and build on it later."

Because beautiful hair isn't about putting in as much hair as possible.

It's about making the right decisions for the person sitting in front of me.

If Someone Notices the Extensions...

I Ask Myself Why.

Did I use too much hair?

Is the colour too solid?

Could the haircut have blended better?

Was the placement right?

Those are the questions that run through my mind.

Not because I'm chasing perfection...

But because I want people to notice you, not the work behind it.

The Best Hair Extensions Are the Ones You Forget You're Wearing

One of the nicest messages I receive after an appointment isn't a photo.

It's something much simpler.

"I forgot I even had them in."

To me...

that's success.

Because when your extensions feel like your own hair...

You've stopped thinking about them.

And that's exactly how I believe Braided Weft should feel.
