Why I Spend More Time Asking Questions Than Talking About Hair
Share
If you've ever sat in my chair, you'll probably notice I ask quite a few questions before we even start talking about hair extensions.
How do you normally wear your hair?
Do you tie it up for work?
How often do you wash it?
Do you love volume, or do you prefer something more natural?
At first, those questions might seem unrelated.
But every answer helps me build a clearer picture of what will suit you.
Hair Is Only Part of the Story
Beautiful hair isn't created by choosing the longest extensions or the thickest weft.
It's created by understanding the person who's going to wear it.
Your routine.
Your lifestyle.
Your expectations.
Your confidence.
Hair becomes part of your everyday life, so I think it should fit into your life—not ask you to change it.
There Isn't One Perfect Formula
One thing I love about doing hair is that no two consultations are ever the same.
Two clients might have similar hair, but completely different goals.
One wants effortless everyday hair.
Another loves lots of volume and glamorous styling.
Neither choice is better.
They're simply different.
That's why I don't follow a formula.
I follow the conversation.
