The Most Common Question I Can't Answer Straight Away
Share
One of the first questions people ask me is,
"How many grams do I need?"
I completely understand why.
When you're researching hair extensions, it's easy to compare yourself to someone else. One person has 100 grams. Another has 200 grams. Someone else has three rows.
It makes you wonder...
"Which one am I supposed to have?"
The truth is...
I can't answer that question until I've seen your hair.
Not because I'm avoiding the answer.
Because your hair deserves more thought than simply picking a number.
Your Hair Doesn't Read the Rule Book
Over the years, I've worked with clients who naturally have thick, full hair.
For them, 200 grams can look beautifully balanced because it complements the hair they already have.
I've also worked with clients whose hair completely transforms with just 75 or 100 grams.
Neither is right.
Neither is wrong.
They're simply right for different people.
That's why I never start with grams.
I start with you.
The Better Question
Instead of asking,
"How many grams do I need?"
I find it more helpful to ask,
"What are you hoping to achieve?"
Maybe you'd love a little more fullness around the ends.
Maybe you've always dreamed of longer hair.
Maybe you simply want your ponytail to feel thicker.
Sometimes the goal stays the same, but the amount of hair needed is completely different.
Balance Over Numbers
One thing I've learnt is that beautiful hair isn't measured in grams.
It's measured by how naturally everything comes together.
When the weight suits your natural hair...
When the colour blends beautifully...
When the length feels balanced...
People usually notice your hair.
Not your extensions.
And that's always a lovely outcome.
