The Best Hair Extensions Aren't Always the Longest
Share
When people first message me, one of the most common questions is,
"How long can I go?"
My answer is usually another question.
"How long should you go?"
Because those are two completely different things.
More Isn't Always Better
Some people think longer hair automatically means better hair.
But imagine wearing a dress that's two sizes too big.
Or shoes that are one size too small.
It doesn't matter how beautiful they are if they don't suit you.
Hair extensions are exactly the same.
The longest hair isn't always the most flattering.
The thickest hair isn't always the most natural.
Sometimes, adding a little less creates a result that looks far more expensive.
I Look at You Before I Look at the Hair
Before choosing a length, I look at things like:
- Your height
- Your shoulders
- Your face shape
- Your natural hair density
- Where your own hair finishes
- How you normally style it
These details help me choose a length that looks like it belongs to you, rather than looking like you've simply attached longer hair.
Beautiful Hair Should Look Effortless
When someone compliments your hair, I don't want their next question to be,
"Are those extensions?"
I want them to wonder why your hair suddenly looks healthier, fuller and more balanced.
Not because it's dramatically longer.
Because it suits you.
Sometimes the most beautiful transformation isn't adding another four inches.
Sometimes it's stopping exactly where nature would have stopped.
That's the difference between adding hair...
...and designing hair.
